ABU DHABI: The Formula 4 Middle East Trophy Round returns to Yas Marina Circuit this weekend, running alongside the 2024 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Yas Heat Racing, representing Abu Dhabi, takes centre stage with an impressive roster of young drivers.
Fifteen-year-olds Adam Al Azhari and August Raber will race for Yas Heat this weekend. Al Azhari, who previously competed in Formula 4 Spain, is set to make his debut at his home track. Raber, a rising star from karting, will also make his home circuit debut, showcasing his potential in front of a global audience.
Adding to the excitement, Emirati racing stars Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi will compete in the Formula 1 Academy finale as Yas Heat ambassadors. Hamda, racing for Red Bull Racing, returns after an impressive season, currently ranked sixth in the F1 Academy standings. Amna, representing Visa Cash App RB, continues to lead the charge for Emirati women in motorsport.

Following this weekend’s non-point-scoring event, the Formula 4 Middle East season kicks off officially at Kuwait Motor Town on January 17, with races scheduled in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
